I started Bookkeeping by Amy because I kept seeing the same thing: talented, hardworking small business owners drowning in paperwork and losing sleep over numbers that should be working for them — not against them.
I believe every business owner deserves clean books, clear financials, and a bookkeeper they can actually talk to. That's what I'm here to provide.

My Story
From accounting to bookkeeping
I spent the early part of my career in corporate finance — working with large teams, complex systems, and budgets with a lot of zeros. I learned a tremendous amount, but I always felt most energized when I was helping the smaller players: the startup that needed to understand their burn rate, the freelancer who had no idea what their profit margin was.
So I made the leap. I started Bookkeeping by Amy to focus entirely on the clients I care most about — small business owners, freelancers, and entrepreneurs who are building something real and need a financial partner they can trust.
Today, I work with clients across a range of industries. Every engagement is personal. I learn your business, I learn your goals, and I keep your books in a way that actually helps you make better decisions.
